An amazing support
I have found Aura-Soma to be a beautiful and gentle way to support myself in my daily life -- especially through times of intensive life change. When I use the essences and pomanders, I feel like I'm deepening my connection with the purity and essential goodness of the universe. An awesome experience "Not another testimonial" you say. I was sceptical about these pink drops in a small plastic bottle, but here's my tale. I had a consultation with a wonderful Aura-Soma consultant, and was about to embark on a twenty one hour flight to Europe from Sydney. I was given the Orion and Angelica Quintessence, renowned for its effectiveness in travelling. This works by keeping my aura with me, which would have been left behind in the many time zones, needing to catch up in the jet lag stage. I used it several times on the way over in the small aircraft toilet, waving my arms around my aura and inhaling deeply three times, as well as repeating this on the long trip home... After qualifying as a psychodynamic counsellor about 4 years ago, I was introduced to Aura-Soma Colour Therapy. It felt as if all the work I had done over the past years, not only in the counselling, but other developmental work, came together in this therapy and gave it all meaning.....
The more I integrate Aura-Soma into my life, the more excited I become. Finally feeling normal again
My journey began with a series of major shocks in my life, and I was to remain in a catatonic state for four years. …. An Aura-Soma consultant suggested I try the Orange/Orange bottle. Experience with the Violet Pomander

How accurate the bottles are
Everyone I have read the bottles for has been absolutely amazed at the accuracy of the bottles, as have I. This I can understand for friends whom I know, but I have done readings for strangers and again the amazement at the spot on nature of the readings. Here is a testimonial from one of my clients. I was very moved by her story and felt it worth sharing.

"Aura-Soma Story
I first became aware of Aura-Soma in August 1998 having read a pamphlet in a Cairns health food store I booked an appointment, but had to cancel it because of a family tragedy. In early 1999, I wrote to Aura-Soma in NSW and was given the names of practitioners around Australia. I selected a practitioner closer to home in Brisbane and booked my very first Aura-Soma session on 26 March.
Bottle No. 45 "Breath of Love" (Turquoise/Magenta) was my chosen therapeutic bottle. During the one month period of using the bottle, I noticed changes in the bubbles, the dispersion of the oil/water in my hand and the clarity of the colour. I became more intuitive, was able to go with the flow of life more easily and coped better in situations where I once would have floundered.
The most significant happening was around the time of my birthday - 15th April. I'd noticed the day before a foetal shape within a womb after shaking the bottle. I was puzzled by this, but knew that by leaving myself open to the universe, the answer would come to me. On the day of my birthday I noticed the same shapes again. On the 16th April, the day after my birthday, I visited a museum in Albury which housed a permanent collection of stories, photos from the Bonegilla Migrant Camp. My parents migrated to Australia and lived at the Bonegilla Migrant Camp for the first 6 months of my life. I had never returned to Albury prior to this year, and knew little of the life my parents (mother in particular) led. Whilst walking through the collection, I was so overcome by a sense of deep grief, loss, sadness, humiliation - all of the experiences I contracted within my mother's womb.
Now, I look back in reflection, and am grateful for what I have learnt and experienced. I have never really felt like I fitted in, especially coming from a migrant background, but also from the negatives given by my parents about not being proud of one's heritage. I am proud of who I am, where I have come from and the experiences of my life - I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for all of that. I do fit in, and I am worthy of fitting in. I just needed to learn that.
I am into my second Aura-Soma bottle - Bottle No. 56 - St. Germain - and the changes continue."

Colour effectively reduces stress
As a counsellor and therapist, Murray distances himself from the 'new age' label, yet says he uses colours successfully to reduce stress in his clients. Colour therapy is based on the concept that we are affected by the vibrations thrown out by colours. Murray says that the biggest problem for most of his clients is their inability to relax.
When we are relaxed, the subconscious comes to the surface and we can access information and be creative. When we're tense and worried, we can't receive information and can't communicate as well. Then the corporate nightmare begins.
Clients choose the 4 coloured Aura-Soma bottles out of a range of 100 bottles that most appeal to them. From the bottle choice, Murray describes conscious and unconscious preoccupations, gifts, challenges, and directions. Some things may be a surprise, others a clarification.
The next step involves taking one or more of the coloured liquids home and rubbing a small amount into the skin once or twice a day.
"Using the bottles starts to balance the person out. Four or five weeks later when the bottle's empty, that's when I get reports, that they feel so much better, within themselves, and they feel more empowered to handle the stress," says Murray.
Executives who didn't feel they could turn down ridiculous workloads gain the confidence within themselves to say when they can fit extra jobs in. "You're putting time and motion in place, and you're not getting stressed".
There are sceptics - particularly men - but Murray says those who end up in his room are amazed at the accuracy of the readings, as he himself was when he first started using the colours.
He says he gets more feedback from clients after colour therapy than after other stress techniques.

Lighten the load
I gave a consultation to a lady and there wasn't any real positive feedback from her - she felt it didn't really relate to her.
From her second bottle choice I told her she needed to come to terms with a grief and it could be an issue with her mother. She said 'No', she'd always been very close to her mother. I also said there could be hidden anger from the colour theme running through her bottles.
After about one week of using the bottle, all of a sudden she started to get angry with everyone, out of sorts and not herself. She thought of not continuing with the bottle, but she did continue.
She was driving to the bank and tears started to flow. She had to pull over as it was a deep wrenching sorrow. All of a sudden it popped into her head, "How dare you go and leave me, you know I needed you". This was a voice in her head - her mother had died when she was only 20 (she is now in her 60's). At the time she knew she'd missed her mother and didn't recognize the anger within. Now she feels like a whole load had been lifted from her and she hadn't been aware of it all that time. V.R.

Acting rather than reacting
I have just finished my first bottle of Magenta tincture. Two weeks into the experiment two distinct situations occurred where I was put under extreme emotional pressure. In normal circumstances my reaction would have been to get angry and walk out or alternatively stand my ground and give back as good as I got. To my surprise I found myself responding in a most creative way, thus defusing a potentially unpleasant situation. I found that I was able to act with wisdom rather than react. B.P.


The effects of the bottles
I love working with the bottles - people are always amazed at the accuracy of the consultations. The ability of the bottles to relieve emotional blockages when applied to the body can be very powerful. I have used 8 bottles myself and have found them all so different. 'From the perspective of a healer, illness is the result of imbalance. Imbalance is a result of forgetting who you are. Forgetting who you are creates thoughts and actions that lead to an unhealthy lifestyle and eventually illness.
The illness itself is a signal that you are imbalanced because you have forgotten who you are. It is a direct message to you that tells you not only how you are in imbalance but also shows you the steps that will take you back to the real self and health.
Illness can thus be understood as a lesson you have given yourself to help you remember who you are'

The Miracle of my father's visit
My dad, who is getting very frail, is a very argumentative person and one has only to be in his company five minutes before he begins to argue. My parents came to stay with me for 6 days and I dreaded the visit. I told the people I work with that the weather would be wet (which it was) and that we would be confined to my unit for that period.
The visit didn't get off to the best of starts as a traffic accident delayed my arrival to the airport by 40 minutes and my father was 'tut-tutting' when I finally got there. To add fuel to the fire, we were delayed another 1½ hours in the airport lounge. My mother and I talked on mundane topics which couldn't begin arguments. When we finally got to my unit, my parents were fairly tired and went to be early.
With the dawning of the next day came the rain. My worst fears had been realized. After breakfast we went into the lounge where all the Aura-Soma bottles are displayed and we all sat there talking. My father's interest in the bottles became very avid. He wanted to know more and didn't argue once that morning. We were briefly able to go shopping and, walking down to the shops, by father couldn't stop mentioning the bottles. I kept thinking this is great, NO ARGUMENTS.
My dad was utterly fascinated with the Equilibrium bottles and I gave him and my mother a consultation, and so much was revealed, especially in my dad's bottles. I was given new insights into him, which was my gift from their visit.
There were no arguments at all through the visit and my father, who has not often offered to give me support, offered me the fare for a ticket to England to study the Aura-Soma. J.B.

I recently had some 'fun' with the Turquoise Pomander. As everyone is aware, it's recommended for creativity among oather things. I've been using it for painting water colours with magical results - what I'm producing is part of me but not just me. Anyone who is into painting I suggest you try it, with the proviso that you open your mind to what comes through. Nancy


A feeling of disconnection
Vicky saw the big challenge for people was dealing with change, finding difficulty in coming to terms with their situation and feeling disconnected from the Earth. In that process Aura-Soma would be there to support people and to help them reconnect with the Earth. It is not only divinely inspired, it is also rooted in an understanding of the earth, and the plants and minerals of the earth, who have given their energies to create the bottles. Mike


Clarity and new decisions
In the process of using B94, I have made major decisions that are far-reaching. It has enabled me to become very clear about these decisions. I am now seeing the bigger picture and broader horizons. There is clarity ahead and I am looking ahead, not in the sense of avoiding the present but viewing the future positively.
In the past I had a tendency to accommodate everyone ... Now I am beginning to take authority for my own empowerment. To get to this place has been extremely challenging. B94 has been the light helping me to see the bigger picture, and have confidence, trust and faith in the future. I'm halfway through the bottle and have found that it's given me the chance to step back and assess relationships honestly, beyond my personal needs….

Sonia's Story
There was once a little girl who believed in magic and beauty and kindness and goodness. However the adults and other children in her life didn't believe or just couldn't see the magic. They scorned her and teased her very cruelly. Her mother constantly told her, 'I don't want to hear it".
So the little girl went into her shell, believing she was wrong and they were right, feeling very different, ashamed and guilty for being wrong. This gave her a huge inferiority complex…… She trid to be what her mum wanted her to be, and copied her friends in an attempt to belong and avoid the dreadful loneliness she felt inside caused by her being different.
She grew up and forgot the magic and had a 'normal' life of marriage, and children, and office jobs. But she always had a wistful feeling inside, as though something was longing for something, but she didn't know what….
However at times when she was on her own she'd silently talk to the trees and flowers and birds, and she hated weeding as it meant killing a life form, and the very last thing she wanted to do was hurt anyone or anything. She found it very difficult to live in a world where people were cruel to each other and wanted to run away and hide, but she didn't and coped as best she could.
One day she read about colour healing and found out where to buy the beautiful bottles. She did an introductory course and was totally overwhelmed by the beauty of the bottles. They stirred something deep inside her but she didn't know what it was. She used some of the bottles and they helped to ease the shame and guilt and inferiority complex.
Then one day she had the whole set of bottles in her home. The bottles started to have a profound effect on her. They reached inside to her inner being and showed her what it was she's been yearning for all these years. So now she is beginning to gradually, very gradually, see the magic again. Sonia
